Stay at the Lake: Next to Giants Ridge

Our lake properties are all part of the Villas at Giants Ridge resort complex, located 3 miles up the road from the Green Gate Guest Houses "In the Woods" site.  The alpine chairlifts, nordic ski trails/fatbike trails, tubing hill and chalet are a short walk out the front door, and the beaches of Wynne Lake (as well as the resort's outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi) are a stone's throw from your back porch.  The two nationally-ranked golf courses are nearby.  Hike in nature, bike the on/offroad trails, paddle the chain of lakes, or simply relax in the wooded lakefront surroundings during your stay....this is the perfect base for your up-north getaway!

Dreaming about a beautiful contemporary space in the heart of the northwoods?  This is it!  The Contemporary Condo is our completely renovated mid-century modern design perfect for a romantic couples' getaway, small family, or those wishing to be as close to the alpine lifts and summer water sports as possible.   Decorated with clean, simple designs and modern amenities throughout, you'll enjoy coming home to this bright, cheerful space to relax after exploring the great outdoors of the Giants Ridge Recreation Area.

Lakeview Villa

For the largest of gatherings, we are pleased to offer the Lakeview Villa – a 3-story home that accommodates up to 14 guests.   Updated with a modern northwoods feel, this property includes 4 bedrooms, 3 baths and plenty of lounge space and picturesque views of Wynne Lake.  Enjoy the freshly-renovated kitchen, loft, fun-for-all-ages gameroom and expanded deck with beautiful lake view!

Pine Cone Cottage

Nestled under a grove of towering conifers and overlooking beautiful Wynne Lake, Pine Cone Cottage is a favorite space for family % friens’ getaways.   Enjoy direct access to the Mesabi Trail, the Giants Ridge mountain bike park, alpine and nordic skiing, beach, playground and outdoor summer pool/hot tub, plus classic northern Minnesota “lake place” living from this 2-story cottage directly within the Giants Ridge Golf & Ski Resort complex.  Fully renovated in a cozy northwoods cottage theme, this is the perfect location for your getaway up north!

Birches Condo

The cozy, freshly updated 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom Birches is perfect for a romantic couple's getaway or small family wishing to be as close to the alpine lifts and summer water sports as possible.  The swimming beach and docks are steps from the back porch and alpine chairlifts, Mesabi Trail, and seasonal outdoor pool/hot tub are all just a short walk away. Decorated with a blend of northwoods traditions, vintage finds, custom slabwood furnishings and modern amenities throughout, you'll enjoy relaxing in this unique space after exploring the great outdoors of the Giants Ridge Recreation Area.

Wynne Point Suite

You'll want to extend your stay just to enjoy the peaceful lake view from this cozy northwoods-themed 2-bedroom suite!  The Wynne Point Suite is one of our offerings within the Villas at Giants Ridge Resort complex.  This two bedroom, 2 bathroom unit includes jacuzzi tubs, full kitchen with island seating, large farmstyle dining table for 8,and living room with gas fireplace and TV.  Enjoy the ground-level view of beautiful Wynne lake from the bedroom window, dining area, or the attached deck off the living room.  Enjoy all the activities (think skiing, golfing, biking, hiking, paddling and laketime) of this 4-season resort just out the front door, and the private, secluded "up north" feel from the back.
